This is a Brand New 502 cubic inch big block Chevy crate engine that pumps out an honest 450 horsepower. There is no replacement for displacement, and torque is still the king! With 550 ft/lbs. of torque, the 502 HO will launch even the heaviest of steel bodied muscle cars harder than you ever thought possible. The 502 HO is complete from intake to oil pan and includes a long style cast iron water pump, 14" flexplate, and a harmonic balancer. Bolt-on pieces that you will need and that we recommend are: 850 cfm carburetor, a quality HEI ignition system, and a good free flowing exhaust system.
